To the Class of 2015

Every year, graduation sneaks up on us, and we find ourselves sitting on concrete bleachers on a Friday night, laughing, watching, screaming names, and realizing how much certain people mean to us.

This year, we're trying to get ahead of the crowds and chaos to say how much we love and appreciate a handful of young women and men from this year's graduating class. It's a big deal to make it this far.

Diana Castro, we've loved spending time with you, being there at your Quince, taking road trips, watching you find a job and chase your dream of playing soccer on the varsity squad. Your energy matches your ambition.

Winda Khor, you're one of Jack's favorite people! We're all amazed at how you manage to care so much about the people around you while playing sports, working, hanging at the after-school program, and doing well in school. You're amazing.

Susana Rubio, you feel like part of our family. We're proud of you like we would be proud of a daughter. Your creative talent, insight, patience, and thoughtfulness make you an interesting, trustworthy friend. We pray for you every morning, and we can't wait to see where God takes you in life.

German Vaca, you're the main reason we got excited about following CK Futbol this year. We loved watching you mess with players' heads on defense and create great opportunities from the wing. It made us realize how much we respect you, on and off the field. Always loved the days when you and Alan would stop by and talk across the fence or stop by Ryan's apartment to chill.

And to the rest of the class of 2015, you deserve all the praise you're going to get over the next couple of days. Enjoy it. We'll be praying for God's love to go with you as you step into the next chapter of life.
